Two editions
Both editions are available now. The Play edition is on Google Play; the Full edition is a direct download from this page.
The Play edition uses Android’s built-in mock location API — set it in Developer Options and you’re running. The Full edition goes further: it hides the spoofing from apps that check for it, and it needs no root. It can patch a chosen app, run apps inside a container, or hide Developer Options from them.
Play Edition
$4.99 one-time
- 3D globe, map, search
- Tap-to-spoof via mock location API
- Joystick and route builder
- Speed control and scheduling
- Favorites, history, themes
- Works on any Android 8+ device
Full Edition
$10 one-time
- Everything in Play, plus:
- Hide from Apps — patch a chosen app so it can’t see the location is mocked; the app is swapped for a patched copy (no root)
- Container mode — run an app inside a container where it sees an ordinary GPS fix (no root)
- ADB stealth — a one-time setup from a computer hides Developer Options from apps that check (no root)
- Detection scan — shows what an app can see about your location setup
Works with
GPS Spoofer works with any app that reads your location. Dedicated guides for the apps people use it with most:
- Pokemon GO — spoof without root, hide from the game, pass Play Integrity
- Tinder — change your location without paying for Passport ($24.99/mo)
- Bumble — appear local anywhere without Travel Mode ($39.99/mo)
- Compare fake GPS apps — free vs paid vs monthly subscriptions
Requirements
| Play Edition | Android 8.0 or higher. Enable Developer Options and select GPS Spoofer as your mock location app. No root needed. |
|---|---|
| Full Edition | Android 8.0 or higher. No root needed. Patching an app with Hide from Apps swaps it for a patched copy: you uninstall the original, install the patched one, and log in again. A patched app can’t use Google Sign-In, so switch that app to email or phone login first. |
Setup
Play Edition: Install from Google Play, then go to Settings → Developer Options → Select mock location app → choose GPS Spoofer. Open the app, tap the map, hit Spoof Here.
Full Edition: Download and install the APK. Open the app and follow its two setup steps: turn on Developer Options, then select GPS Spoofer as the mock location app. Tap the map and spoof. For an app that checks for spoofing, open Hide from Apps and patch it, or run it in Container mode. Using it with Tinder? Step-by-step Tinder guide.
How it works
The Play edition uses Android’s LocationManager.addTestProvider() API, which any app with the mock location permission can call. This is the same API developers use to test location features, and it works on every Android device without modification.
The Full edition adds ways to keep apps from seeing that the location is mocked. Without root, it can patch a chosen app with a bundled copy of LSPatch so the app’s own mock-location checks see an ordinary fix, run apps inside a container that feeds them the coordinates with isMock() false, or, after a one-time ADB setup from a computer, hide Developer Options and the mock location setting from detection.
In both editions, every fix carries the satellite count, dilution of precision and signal strength a real receiver reports, from one signal model: accuracy starts coarse and tightens over the first seconds, and now and then the signal drops the way it does between buildings. Apps that read the live satellite status stream see your phone's real satellites; that stream is not simulated.
