Change your Bumble location on Android without Travel Mode

Bumble shows you people within your chosen distance, and it reads your GPS to know where “here” is. Its own way to swipe somewhere else, Travel Mode, is part of Bumble Premium: about $39.99 a month in the US. GPS Spoofer changes your actual GPS coordinates for $10, once, with no root.

Why Travel Mode shows on your profile

When you use Travel Mode, Bumble adds a badge to your profile that says you are traveling. Some people swipe left on travelers because they assume a travel-mode user is not actually moving to their city. If you want to appear as a local, Travel Mode does not do that.

GPS Spoofer changes your phone’s actual GPS coordinates. Bumble reads the position the same way it does when you are physically there — no badge, no “Traveling” flag.

Why a plain fake-GPS app is not enough

Android marks every location from a mock location app: Location.isMock() returns true, and any app can check. Bumble can read this flag. The mock location guide explains the Android side.

GPS Spoofer’s Full edition hides the mock flag without root, in one of three ways:

  • Hide from Apps — patches Bumble so its location checks see an ordinary GPS fix. Android needs the original Bumble uninstalled and the patched copy installed in its place.
  • Container mode — runs Bumble inside a container app that hands it the location unflagged. Bumble’s data inside the container is separate from a normal install.
  • ADB stealth — a one-time setup from a computer that hides Developer Options and the mock location setting from apps that check.

Step by step

  1. If you log into Bumble with Google, switch to phone number or email login first. A patched Bumble cannot use Google Sign-In.
  2. Buy GPS Spoofer Full. Your download link arrives by email; install the APK.
  3. Open GPS Spoofer and follow its two setup steps: turn on Developer Options, then select GPS Spoofer as the mock location app.
  4. Open Hide from Apps, tap Bumble, and follow the steps: patch, uninstall the original, install the patched copy. Or use Container mode instead.
  5. Pick a city on the globe and tap Spoof Here.
  6. Open Bumble. Your stack should show people near the spoofed location.

The risks, plainly

Bumble’s Terms and Conditions prohibit using “any robot, spider, site search/retrieval application, or other manual or automatic device or process to retrieve, index, ‘data mine,’ or in any way reproduce or circumvent the navigational structure or presentation of the Service” and modifying any part of the app. Using GPS Spoofer with Bumble breaks those terms. Bumble may suspend or terminate your account. Travel Mode carries none of that risk; if the monthly price is fine for you, it is the safe choice.
